Week 5 – Buffalo Bills (Home)

2018 Record: 6-10

Line: Tennessee -5

Key Additions:

  • Mitch Morse, C
  • John Brown, WR
  • Ed Oliver, DT

Key Departures:

  • Kyle Williams, DT
  • John Miller, G

If it weren’t for a late drop by former wideout Nick Williams, the Titans would’ve beaten the Bills last year. In 2019, Buffalo presents a real challenge and a potential “trap game.” The boys in two-tone blue have made a career out of losing to teams they should beat. To go from “good to great,” head coach Mike Vrabel must have his squad ready to face a young talented team in the Bills.

Buffalo’s defense should operate at a high level this year, but they don’t possess enough offensive firepower to keep up with the Titans.

Who will be the Bills’ starting running back? I’m not even sure head coach Sean McDermott knows. Buffalo cut long-time starter LeSean McCoy on Saturday.

Prediction: Win

The Titans hold a well-coached Bills team off and get an uncharacteristic win at home.

Tennessee Titans win-loss counter: 4-3
