Thank God for home-field advantage. It’s about the only edge the Titans will have in this game. In 2018, The Kansas City Chiefs produced one of the most prolific offenses ever.

A mismatch nightmare, the Chiefs roster an electrifying receiving corps., a system in which most any running back can thrive, and the league’s best tight end, Travis Kelce. In their last meeting, the Titans bested the formerly Alex Smith-led Chiefs in the wild card round of the 2017 season. But now this team has quarterback Patrick Mahomes, a generational talent.

What are this team’s weaknesses to exploit?

The Titans led the league last year in sacks dialed up from the secondary, and to slow down this Kansas City offense, the Titans will have to confuse Mahomes. Defensive coordinator Dean Pees will need a game-plan unmatched, and the defensive backs will need to have a good day at the office.

The Titans were sixth-best in passing yards allowed in 2018, so they may be able to slow down Mahomes and Co. On the contrary, the Chiefs allowed 405.5 yards per game—the second-most in the NFL. They were the sixth-worst rushing defense, giving up 132.1 yards per game on the ground.

Prediction: Loss

Despite a vigorous effort by Henry, the Chiefs’ potency on offense is insurmountable, and the Titans fall at home.

Tennessee Titans win-loss counter: 8-4
