Sign: Stefen Wisniewski, C/G

Stefen Wisniewski isn’t old, but at 30 years old he probably is going to have to play really well to earn a long term deal with anyone in the NFL.

After a slightly down season last year, teams aren’t very excited to sign him and he sat as a free agent for a while in the summer before ultimately getting picked up by the Philadelphia Eagles again.

That tells me that even though they already had their starters locked in, they wanted him close in case something happened and they wanted to have the first chance to sign him if they needed an interior lineman.

Ultimately they let him go, but he still should have some left in the tank and he is a guy who can clearly play all three interior spots and do so at an above average level.

Not only could he be a great backup for the Titans, he could probably start at right guard if Nate Davis isn’t healthy. If he did then that means that Pamphile now reverts back to backup at every position and they could bring in the best available OL to replace David Quessenberry.

This move could make the entire offensive line better and it could happen almost instantaneously based on his experience in ZBS schemes.
