Sign: Willie Henry, DT

I mean this just feels like such a smart and easy move right?

If you didn’t know, Willie Henry was a 4th round draft pick of the Baltimore Ravens in 2016 and has spent a lot of his career on injured reserve. While that isn’t idea, he showed in 2017 that he can be effective when healthy and he can do it throughout a long season.

Last year he was solid again before getting hurt and ending up on I.R.

Playing in 17 games in a 3 year career isn’t overly exciting, but in that time he has nearly as many career sacks as Daquan Jones (4.5 vs 6) despite playing 50 fewer games than Jones.

A big part of this equation is that Tennessee Titans DC Dean Pees was Henry’s DC when he was drafted and when he had his most successful season. If the question right now is which of these players gives you the most upside:

A. Willie Henry

B. Brent Urban

C. Matt Dickerson

D. Austin Johnson

I think Henry is far and away the right choice, don’t you?
