4. New England Patriots

I honestly don’t know how the Patriots take average talent and turn them into Super Bowl contenders, but bless Bill Belichick for doing it. It is amazing to see year in and year out and now that I have seen the Titans stop Brady and Bill B. in person, it is easier to respect.

Defensively they have no standouts nor anyone who would stand out on another roster and the offense is held together by Tom Brady, Dante Scarnecchia and the ghost of Rob Gronkowsi. Despite that, I have no doubt that the Patriots will win 10+ games and their division.

3. L.A. Rams

If the Rams had any one other than a bottom 5/10 QB in the NFL they would be number one on this list. They have maybe the best defensive player in the NFL in Aaron Donald as well as a smattering of other good defenders.

However, we all know that their bread is buttered on offense. Sean McVay could get a paper bag to throw for 4,000 yards if he wanted to. In fact, I’ll go one step farther and say that he could even make Blake Bortles look…serviceable.

I am afraid that the offense will take a step back this year with the change on the OL as well as the fear of Todd Gurley possibly struggling with an injury or just chronic pain.
