EDGE (5): Harold Landry, Cameron Wake, Sharif Finch, Reggie Gilbert, Kamalei Correa

It seems easy to forget because the Titans haven’t played him in the preseason, but Landry was the best pass rusher on the defense last year outside of Jurrell Casey. No doubt he makes the roster and is EDGE1.

Cameron Wake looked good in limited action vs the Steelers, most notably figuring out the weakness in the Steelers protection quickly and getting in the backfield for a pressure that led to a punt.

Sharif Finch was great as an UDFA last year and while he didn’t have a highlight reel this preseason, he did a lot of the work by himself including forcing a safety. Finch is one of those guys that has all the tools to develop and while you wait on the finished product you get to see flashes of what the might become.

Speaking of UDFA EDGEs who have shown flashes, newly acquired Titans pass rusher Reggie Gilbert obviously makes this list. Last year, Gilbert was the Green Bay Packers most effective pass rusher on a per snap basis and tied the team lead in total pressures despite playing as a reserve. That combined with averaging a sack per game in his last 5 preseason games make him an intriguing player.

It looks like Correa beat out Roberson, though I think Correa is another player who could be traded/released from the Titans in the coming days if they have a chance to upgrade.
