Defensive line (6+1): Jurrell Casey, DaQuan Jones, Isaiah Mack, Matt Dickerson, Brent Urban, Austin Johnson + Jeffery Simmons (PUP)

The Tennessee Titans desperately need to try to find someone to help bolster this group, at least until Jeffery Simmons is healthy.

Jurrell Casey looked good vs the Pittsburgh Steelers, but with Big Ben and Co. going quick pass constantly, it was hard to get a good look. Obviously he is the star of the DL at this point.

I will be the first to admit that I was too low on Jones based of what we have seen from him this preseason. He has a strong anchor and his effort sticks out on a line of DL supposedly fighting for their future. I have been very impressed.

Speaking of being impressed, Mack has looked as powerful as anyone on the Titans offensive or defensive line. His natural leverage and pop make him a nightmare for offensive linemen to block and he has shown up in pass rush as frequently as he has shown up vs the run.

Brent Urban, Matt Dickerson and Austin Johnson are definitely guys that could be moved on from, but I just don’t know what the Titans would target in a trade or on the waiver wire to replace them. So until I name I really like comes out I am going to tentatively keep them on the roster projection.
