Offensive line (9+1): Jack Conklin, Ben Jones, Rodger Saffold, Dennis Kelly, Corey Levin, Kevin Pamphile, Nate Davis, Jamil Douglas, Don Barclay + Taylor Lewan.

I am going to be really nice here and include Kevin Pamphile. While he has struggled in the preseason at right guard, I think his long term position is backup OT where he showed up well when he was thrust into action last season.

Taylor Lewan is a special case. He is a star, but his suspension means he doesn’t count against the roster hence the “+1”.

Jack Conklin has looked like a man possessed…by Taylor Lewan. He has been physical, technically sound and up to the challenge of taking on guys like T.J. Watt and the rest of the Steelers front. If the Titans get this version of Conklin for 16 games he is going to get a huge contract.

Ben Jones has also looked better than he has in a while, hopefully fully healthy now. He looks like a guy who can hold his own vs a variety of pass rushers.

Rodger Saffold has had 20 solid plays and 2 bad plays, but dear goodness were those 2 plays bad. I think consistency will come in time, but he needs to figure out how to get back to what he has been the last few years instead of having those huge lapses in play.

Dennis Kelly has also been hot or cold this season. I think he is a sneaky trade candidate in the middle of the season once the guard position is figured out because once Nate Davis (or whoever) takes over RG then the Titans will have two backup OTs on the roster.

Jamil Douglas is going to make the team I guess.

Don Barclay is a named first mentioned by Paul Kuharsky and someone with guard experience in the NFL. Lane Taylor would have been ideal, but he is going to be the starter according to recent reports. Neither have been great, but the team need someone else at the bottom of the roster with experience.
