There are three reasons why Derrick Henry’s fantasy football stock is through the roof this season.

There has been a lot of hype around Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry in both fantasy and real life football circles going into the 2019 NFL season.

Henry enjoyed a breakout year in 2018, as he broke the 1,000-yard mark for the first time in his career and found pay dirt 12 times. Much of that had to do with Henry’s last four weeks of the season in which he was a league-winning back for many fantasy owners.

One of the concerns so far this year has been Henry’s health. He pulled up with a strained calf muscle on the very first day of training camp and did not participate in any of the team’s preseason games.

At this point, we can put that concern to bed. Henry is healthy and likely would have played in the third preseason game if not for rainy weather and slick conditions. The Titans back has said he expects to be ready for Week 1 of the regular season on September 8th.

With that out of the way, it’s all aboard the Derrick Henry hype train!

Here’s what you need to know about the running back who could win you a fantasy football championship in 2019.
