(2016-Present). Derrick Henry. 4. player. 35. . RB

  • Best season: 2018
  • 1,059 rushing yards, 12 rushing touchdowns
  • 99 receiving yards

This may sound like recency bias, but can you tell me a running back on this list who actively won more games for the Titans or the Oilers than Derrick Henry did for the team in 2018?

The whole month of December was Derrick Henry Month. Had Marcus Mariota been healthy, Henry probably would have contributed to a win for the Titans against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 17 to secure a playoff berth in the AFC.

Henry has home-run threat ability. When he wants to run over someone, he has that power. Look no further than performances against the division-rival Jacksonville Jaguars. His performance against them last year on Thursday Night Football was otherworldly.

He did all of that damage behind and an offensive line that had two starters set to be replaced quickly in free agency and behind an unsettled right tackle position. Imagine what he can do with upgrades across the offensive line and from the new offensive coordinator Arthur Smith.
