Derek Barnett, EDGE

This is going to seem out of place, but I think that the Philadelphia Eagles may not be very high on Derek Barnett.

It is interesting to note that the Eagles have made a LOT of additions to the EDGE position since drafting Barnett which can’t have been the plan. Look at their depth chart now:

Brandon Graham (re-signed this offseason)

Josh Sweat

Vinny Curry (signed this offseason)

-Shareef Miller (drafted this year)

Daeshon Hall

Eli Harold (traded for him in August)

If the Eagles are serious players for Jadeveon Clowney, that EDGE room is going to get crowded and expensive quickly. An easy out is to trade Barnett to the Titans after you trade for Clowney.

The Titans get what they need in an aggressive EDGE opposite the finesse guy that is Harold Landry.
