Stock up: A.J. Brown

Brown made his second preseason appearance and ended up catching two passes, but his 12-yard reception was called back thanks to a penalty called on Pamphile.

The catch that did stand was a 10-yard gain on a throw from Tannehill. Brown faked Steelers cornerback Artie Burns out of his cleats on a beautiful route.

Brown could’ve had more yards on the play if not for a poorly thrown ball. He also fumbled on the play but was able to recover it. More importantly, Brown has his first official catch under his belt, which should help build his confidence going into the regular season.

The Ole Miss product got plenty of run with the first-team offense on Sunday night and looks primed to be the Titans’ No. 3 receiver behind Corey Davis and Adam Humphries in 2019.

Tennessee Titans linebacker, Harold Landry.

Stock down: Harold Landry

After missing four practices following the Titans’ second preseason game, Landry was unable to suit up for the team’s dress rehearsal. The field conditions were slick with rainy weather, so it’s possible Landry could have gone in different circumstances.

Landry has now missed all three of the Titans’ exhibition contests and likely won’t see one snap this preseason.

While head coach Mike Vrabel said Landry’s absences were “by design,” there is some cause for concern here. Landry is a major piece on this Titans defense that could bolster a pass-rush that was tied for 16th in the NFL with 39 sacks in 2018.

Hopefully we get a positive update on Landry at some point in the next week or so, or else concern could turn to panic.

Tennessee Titans running back, Jeremy McNichols.

Stock up: Jeremy McNichols

McNichols continued his strong preseason by leading the Titans in rushing in Week 3. The former fifth-round pick carried the ball nine times for 43 yards (4.8 yards per carry), and busted off a nice 23-yard run with the help of Dad.

McNichols has done something to stand out in every preseason game thus far, and if David Fluellen won’t be ready to start the season or the Titans decide to carry a fourth back, McNichols deserves to be the choice.

Stock up: Isaiah Mack

Mack’s stock continues to rise after his Preseason Week 2 standout performance that saw him total four tackles (one solo, one for loss) and one sack.

Mack Attack followed that up with three tackles (two solo) in Preseason Week 3, and he earned the second-highest grade among Titans defenders with an 89.4, per Pro Football Focus.

The UDFA out of Chattanooga appears to be a certainty to make the Titans’ roster at this point, with Mack consistently posting strong performances week in and week out.
