Tennessee Titans disappoint fans in Week 3 of the preseason.

It isn’t the world, but there is something to be said for a team that continually finds ways to squander the chance for good publicity like the Tennessee Titans.

The AFC South never looked more open than it did on Sunday morning. The other teams had so much going on and all the Titans had to do was look like a functioning NFL team, I mean just look:

Indianapolis Colts: Private information from inside the organization was leaked and Andrew Luck was forced to retire on someone else’s terms because people in house couldn’t keep their mouths shut. Oh, and the “fans” boo’d Luck in his last appearance in Colts gear.

Houston Texans: Deshaun Watson was on the field for three plays: sack negated by a DPI, the handoff to Lamar Miller which resulted in a season ending injury and a strip sack. After that he was pulled and the Dallas Cowboys went on to beat the Texans by five(!) scores.

Jacksonville Jaguars: Leonard Fournette looked pedestrian again and Nick Foles looked scared to throw it to anyone other than Dede Westbrook which eventually led to him being yanked.

I mean, the stage was set for some positive publicity for once, and the Titans did exactly what they did against the Buffalo Bills last year and what they have done for decades now: disappointed.

But hey, it is preseason and maybe this is the wake up call they needed. Either way, when the game was over there were some very clear losers and a few winners so let’s break them down.
