Rookie wide receiver A.J. Brown showed Tennessee Titans fans why they should be excited to see him play in 2019 with one beautiful move.

Tennessee Titans rookie wide receiver A.J. Brown faked a Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback out of his cleats en route to his first official preseason catch.

Brown saw three targets on Sunday night against the Steelers, and would have had two catches in total if not for a penalty on right guard Kevin Pamphile that ruined a 12-yard grab.

However, Brown did officially record one catch for 10 yards, and it was a beauty.

Brown’s route was so good, that he faked Steelers corner Artie Burns out of his cleats on a pass from backup quarterback, Ryan Tannehill.

Enjoy.

Now that’s the kind of move we want to see from Brown, who was the Titans’ second-round pick in 2019. A fake out like that gives us hope that Brown can be an impact player in his first season with the Titans.

Brown’s first of three targets came on the Titans’ second drive. Quarterback Marcus Mariota targeted him over the middle of the field, but Brown was unable to come up with the pass as he was hit right when the ball got to him.

The Ole Miss product got plenty of reps with the first-team offense and looks primed to be the Titans’ No. 3 receiver behind Corey Davis and Adam Humphries.

While Brown certainly has some nice moves, he’s also a strong, physical receiver with great hands and can make things happen on short passes. We can’t wait to see what he can do once the regular season starts and he gets more snaps.

And, with the addition of Humphries to go along with Davis and a returning Delanie Walker, Brown is the fourth option in the passing game. That’s great depth for a Titans passing attack that normally doesn’t have much.
