Free Safety: Kevin Byard

-I mean, do I have to even say it? The answer is no, but I will do it anyway.

Kevin Byard is the best safety in the NFL, from his league leading interceptions over the last two years to his ability to knock your running back’s teeth out if he needs to.

You can be wrong and pick other names who people claim are better at this or that, but don’t come crying to me when Old Takes Exposed comes for you and makes you look bad in front of all of your Twitter friends.

Money doesn’t make a safety great, but a great safety deserves his money and the Titans agreed when they made the best safety in the NFL the highest paid safety in the NFL.

Strong Safety: Kenny Vaccaro

-While Byard can do it all, Vaccaro really only wants to do one thing: seek and destroy. Well…I guess that is two things, but you get my point.

Vaccaro isn’t a slouch in coverage, but there is no denying how exciting it is when the ball is in the air and you can see him flip his hips and close on a defender. He has bad intentions and he is the kind of legal enforcer that you love to see in the NFL.

*Amani Hooker:

-The Titans have been running some three safety looks on defense. Despite the age gap, I expect Hooker to be the third safety instead of Dane Cruikshank because of what he can do in coverage as well as his instincts and college production.
