Off ball linebackers

Weak LB: Jayon Brown

-As the best off ball linebacker in the division, Brown is definitely a player that needs to be on the field as much as possible.

Strong LB: Rashaan Evans

-Rashaan Evans is going to be the most intriguing player to watch on the Titans defense this year. First of all, his development from coming back from a hamstring injury in the early part of the season, to where he finished the season was great.

Secondly, in his first full NFL offseason he has taken on more of a responsibility role for the team both on and off the field. It is clear that he is taking ownership of this defense which is exactly what you want to see from a former first round pick.

Finally, speaking of being a first round pick, the Titans traded up for Evans last year and clearly wanted him to do more than just be an inside linebacker. All the rumor and innuendo this preseason has been that he is going to be used to rush the passer frequently, which is a role he will be great at.

*Wesley Woodyard

-I wanted to include Woodyard in here because he was the Titans leading tackler last year and he is going to play a lot, but he is going to be a  guy who probably plays a bigger role on the short down and distance situations in heavy defensive packages.
