Defensive line

1-tech/NT: Daquan Jones

-Jones has had a very good preseason, and not just because Mike Vrabel says he has been showing out in practices. In the games he has been able to anchor really well in the middle of the defense and get some nice push.

I still think the “other” DT job will go to Jeffery Simmons as soon as he gets back in any sort of shape, but it is nice that Jones has improved enough for there not to be a huge hole in the middle of the defense until that time comes.

3-tech/4i: Jurrell Casey

-This is a no-brainer obviously. Casey is outstanding, he starts on any DL in the NFL.

3rd DL: Brent Urban

-I struggled with this one because really no one has looked good as the 3rd DL in the Tennessee Titans 3-4 look. If I had to pick one player it would be Isaiah Mack, but right this is a list of the players that I think would start Week 1 and Mike Vrabel would trust a veteran over an UDFA rookie.
