5 reasons PFF prefers Marcus Mariota to Ryan Tannehill for Tennessee Titans

Why PFF thinks that the Tennessee Titans are clearly better off starting Marcus Mariota over Ryan Tannehill.

Another day, another debate on who the Tennessee Titans should start at quarterback.

While the vast majority of people believe that Marcus Mariota should be the starter, there is a vocal minority that keep pushing for Ryan Tannehill to challenge #8 for the starting spot.

This is a conversation that has gained traction despite the vocal minority having no inside sources of value, no information or context to back up their desire for Tannehill and with no connection or understanding what the Tennessee Titans have or haven’t over the past few years.

So, here we are and this time Pro Football Focus is putting their two-cents in using their metrics and reasoning on who should start for the Titans. Wouldn’t you know it, they think that Marcus Mariota should be the starter.

After reading their breakdown, I came away with five reasons they gave to support their conclusion and whether or not those are an accurate representation of what the “naked eye” says.
