Pro Football Focus has released its grades for the Tennessee Titans from Preseason Week 2.

The Preseason Week 2 game saw some great performances by some of the Tennessee Titans’ youngsters.

Here’s a list of the top-five-graded players, according to Pro Football Focus, from Preseason Week 2, via The Athletic’s John Glennon.

Tennessee Titans right tackle, Jack Conklin.

Tennessee Titans offense

Titans right tackle Jack Conklin’s 91.7 was the best on offense for Tennessee. That important to note because Conklin has proved to be an All Pro-quality tackle in 2016, and his healthy return in 2019 could be a huge boost to the Titans’ offensive line.

Two tight ends, Anthony Firkser and Delanie Walker, were No. 2 and No. 3, respectively. It was great to see Walker back and in form for the first time in almost a year, and he didn’t disappoint after totaling two catches for 26 yards and a touchdown.

Firkser caught two passes for 32 yards on two targets, but we already know he’s a talented pass-catcher. If Firkser hopes to see more time on the field in 2019, he’s going to have to improve his blocking in order to see increased snaps.

Titans right guard Kevin Pamphile is solid, but isn’t doing much to stand out as he continues to be the favorite to start. The fact that we’re seeing fellow guard Aaron Stinnie on here could mean the Titans consider giving him some more reps on the right side in practice.

Kansas State product and UDFA, running back Alex Barnes, finally showed some life on Saturday night with seven carries for 42 yards, albeit against a third-string defense. Barnes had his chance to make a case to be a possibility to make the team, however he has been consistently outperformed by fellow back, Jeremy McNichols, and this performance is too little, too late.

Tennessee Titans linebacker, Sharif Finch.

Tennessee Titans defense

Among players with a minimum of 10 snaps, Mississippi State product and UDFA, Braxton Hoyett was the highest-graded defensive player in Preseason Week 2. The nose tackle finished with three total tackles (two solo). He stands as a long shot to make the roster.

Linebacker and Vanderbilt product Josh Smith was signed by the Titans this week and saw immediate action. Smith saw 17 snaps and did enough to make this list. The Titans need depth at outside linebacker, but Smith will have to keep up his solid play if he’s going to earn his spot.

Sharif Finch saw just 15 snaps in the second preseason game and made the most of every one. Finch was impressive once again at putting pressure on the quarterback, as he had multiple pressures in the first half, one of which would have been a sack if he wasn’t held.

Finch was named by PFF as one of the Titans’ strong performers in Preseason Week 1, a game in which he also put pressure on the quarterback. Finch looks like he’ll be the best of the best of depth the Titans have at EDGE.
