Winner: Delanie Walker, TE
The man. The myth. The legend. Delanie Walker was back and looked exactly how we all remembered him.
He lined up next to Conklin a few times and I distinctly remember getting weird 2016 vibes which is great, the Tennessee Titans could definitely use some of that this year.
When the offense was really at risk of falling into a rut, Marcus Mariota went to Delanie Walker to convert a first down and then it was a quick drive down the field where the Titans actually scored two touchdowns.
The first was a long touchdown run by Jeremy McNichols, but when that got called back the offense didn’t panic and later finished the drive with a touchdown to Walker.
Mariota and Walker just have great chemistry and timing, something that was missed last season. Arthur Smith has to be extremely aware of that relationship and I expect to see Walker and Derrick Henry featured heavily in the redzone this season.
