Loser: Kamalei Correa, EDGE

I just don’t know how the Tennessee Titans can go into the season with what they have as depth at EDGE and I think they know it too.

While I am still confident in the top-3 (Harold Landry, Cameron Wake and Sharif Finch), the numbers behind those three are kinda scary. The next man up seemed like it would be Correa, but after last night I am not so sure.

Despite playing in the 4th quarter of the preseason game, Correa didn’t register a sack and he hurt himself a lot more by missing tackles and not really getting any pressure.

I can’t really figure out what Correa is. Is he this hybrid defender that has the chance to get sacks in bunches, or is he a guy that can do a lot of things at an “ok” level and give you special teams versatility.

If it is the second one, then there are several guys that out there in free agency or on the team already that have more long term upside. So going forward I think the 4th EDGE spot is now wide open and I could even see them add another player to the mix.
