Delanie Walker, TE #82

Is there a player more loved on the roster than Delanie Walker? Sure, Taylor Lewan and Kevin Byard are truly outstanding players and the 95% of the fan base is on board with them, but Walker has to be even higher right?

Don’t forget, Walker came over and was a star when there was nothing else going on in Tennessee. Week in and week out he was their only offensive weapon for two years until Jon Robinson came in and fixed the team.

Walker has been with the Tennessee Titans almost longer than any other player, right up there with Jurrell Casey. It will be great to see him come out and stay healthy, especially when you remember just how much better Mariota plays with guys like Walker and Humphries on the field.

As he takes the field tonight, it is fair to ask if he has the chance to be the best Tennessee Titans player to ever play for the team that wasn’t drafted by Tennessee.
