A.J. Brown, WR #11

Winning contested catches, barking at defenders, winning with technique and route running, I could be describing rookie A.J. Brown’s time at Ole Miss or last week’s joint practice with the New England Patriots.

At times, Brown found himself lined up against Stephon Gilmore who many regard as one of the best cornerbacks in football. The Titans didn’t shy away from this matchup and neither did Brown as we saw from the “disagreement” they had.

Like Saffold, Brown missed the first preseason game and a lot of practices, but that didn’t stop him from jumping right into the starting lineup ahead of Tajae Sharpe who was having a great camp.

When he was drafted, I really thought the Tennessee Titans got a steal and had one of the most sure-handed WRs in the entire class with exceptional RAC ability. Similar to a faster Anquan Boldin if you asked me to make a comparison.

Everything looks and sounds great from what fans are hearing about the rookie, now they just need to see it on the field.
