Mariota does well despite offensive line shuffle again
The OL from left to right was: Dennis Kelly, Jamil Douglas, Ben Jones, Kevin Pamphile, and Jack Conklin.
So right off the bat you could understand why I was bracing myself for a long day because it is hard having your backup LT, backup LG and potentially your backup RG starting (if you think Nate Davis would have been the starter).
However, the OL held up reasonably well (though there were still some issues) and Marcus Mariota turned in a pretty good day.

1. Mariota good to the back of the end zone to Jennings
2. Tannehill incomplete to Davis corner of end zone, barley. Juggled catch
3. Tannehill incomplete to Delanie back of the end zone
4. Mariota complete in end zone to Delanie
The redzone and short area stuff was great, and while Mariota obviously had some misses so did every quarterback on the field today. Sometimes in the hot weather and with real action going on, everything isn’t as crisp as it should be.
Still, Mariota’s collective performance was very good and he had an even better day than yesterday. Not surprisingly, that coincided with Delanie Walker’s return to practice and A.J. Brown getting more reps:
