Winner: Marcus Mariota

Hey, have you read about how so many national media pundits are down on Marcus Mariota despite having little to no evidence to back up why they don’t think he will succeed other than the fact that he *checks notes* wins a bunch of football games and is a team first player?

If you have read that article, then it shouldn’t surprise you that even with Delanie Walker and Derrick Henry today, Marcus Mariota still made a splash.

These weren’t just dump offs and check downs, one of those completions was a deep bomb to Taywan Taylor that would have gone for a huge touchdown in a game.

How well Marcus Mariota takes care of the ball is always underrated and random things always cloud how solid he is there. Last year he has two extra interceptions because the Titans let him go on the field and play in the Miami game after he couldn’t feel his hand.

Back to today, it is interesting to see everyone who was screaming about Tannehill needing to start in Tennessee now quiet when things like this happen.
