Taywan Taylor showing off?

There has been a lot of speculation after the Philadelphia Eagles preseason game that the Tennessee Titans could be thinking about trading Taywan Taylor if not outright cutting him.

Today was a great example of why that just isn’t going to happen…at least the cutting part.

He has too much value as a big play threat and made big plays with both quarterbacks against different defenders. That is a great way to demonstrate your value to a coaching staff and front office, but maybe his motivation isn’t solely to impress the Titans.

I am very into conspiracy theories, and ever since the Titans drafted A.J. Brown I have said that I would circle this date on calendar to start perking my ears up for WR trade rumors.

We have seen some things come out about Taylor as the potential trade target of the New York Giants, but all the connections between the Pats and Titans can’t be ignored.

If you saw the second episode of Hard Knocks this year, then you know that this is a great opportunity for opposing staffs to judge and inquire about players on the other team.

Just something to keep an eye on given the Patriots lack of explosion on offense.
