Mike Vrabel and Tom Brady, together again.

Vrabel and Brady got the day started by chirping a little bit at each other, but obviously the two are still close because this ended in a swarm of New England Patriots players coming over and singing happy birthday to the Titans HC.

Normally I don’t like teams being so friendly with each other because you want that passion and aggression on the field to feel real and permanent. It is like when a wrestler breaks kayfabe, it just kills the illusion.

However, Vrabel and Brady are an interesting pair. Both are alpha males who enjoy barking at people, but who people apparently really like behind the scenes and who everyone respects.

Given their history of championships and record breaking seasons I don’t mind that the Titans HC has a direct line to guys like Bill Belichick and Tom Brady if he ever wants some inside info or advice.
