Purdue South?

I didn’t even realize it, but after the additions this morning the Tennessee Titans are likely the team that Purdue fans should be most interested. This is a quick list of those players:

Akeem Hunt (new)

-DeAngelo Yancy (new)

-Dennis Kelly

-Kevin Pamphile

At the very least they have to have more offensive players from Purdue than anyone else in the NFL.

Interestingly enough, I think there is a chance that at least three of them make this roster.

Dennis Kelly and Kevin Pamphile are more a matter of where they land on the depth chart, rather than whether or not they make the team.

Akeem Hunt was a great player in the AAF and has quietly put together an interesting resume since high school:

For a team that is now dealing with a minor injury to starter Derrick Henry as well as something potentially different with David Fluellen, there are going to be a lot of RB snaps up for grabs this preseason.

If Hunt can prove to be a good investment on special teams and as a rotational back then he could make this roster.

Yancey is interesting because I know the Titans really liked him coming out of the draft, but it is going to be hard to make this roster at WR.
