Offensive line shake up

Call it a shake up or a mistake (which is definitely the right answer after the Eagles game) the Tennessee Titans decided to change their starting lineup.

I don’t understand this at all. Starting from left to right:

LT Dennis Kelly: Cool, good player

LG Rodger Saffold: Outstanding, should be a star

C Ben Jones: Solid, but that means that the right guard is going to be “not Ben Jones”

RG Jamil Douglas: Wait. What?

RT Jack Conklin: Cool, good player

With Kevin Pamphile, Corey Levin and Aaron Stinnie on the roster the Titans decided the best use of this practice was to put Jamil Douglas at right guard for the first time.

The mystery injury to Nate Davis is obviously making the Titans coaching staff feel like they need to see how other players can fit in that position but this just feels like a complete waste of a practice based off of what we saw from him on Thursday.

He will get his chance to prove me and most everyone else wrong with a string of practices against the New England Patriots, but he should have a very short leash.
