Who was actually better on second glance.

Hot takes and sweeping judgements get made a lot when you are watching a game live. For example sometimes you give credit to a guy for great effort, only to see that he actually missed a block the first time which led to him running down field and trying to just find someone to hit.

These players got blamed or criticized despite some good plays.

Adoree Jackson: Looking back, it looks like Adoree Jackson only played that ball in the air the way he did on the long touchdown was because he thought he was going to have help on the inside.

If that is your thought process then I get taking a big chance because you assume you will have a safety to help make the tackle.

Kevin Pamphile: He was fine and I wasn’t too hard on him after the game, but you see a huge drop off in talent between him and guys behind him like Aaron Stinnie and Jamil Douglas who looked out of place.

Jack Conklin: I thought Jack Conklin had a good night last night, but going back it was even better than I remembered. He had nice power and dropped the anchor at will, and while I would have loved to see him vs a better speed rusher he showed the power that made him an All-Pro.
