Loser: All the guards that played

On first glance, there were several plays where the Tennessee Titans guards were on the ground or missing their assignments.

Jamil Douglas was the starting left guard with Rodger Saffold out and he was obviously not up to that standard. I think on game day the Titans would probably shift Corey Levin or Ben Jones to that spot, or they would move over Kevin Pamphile and put Nate Davis at right guard.

Speaking of Pamphile, he was the most “fine” of all of the guards and he did some stuff well early but there were also times where he ended up on the ground and wasn’t as powerful as I thought he had been in the past.

Stinnie was the one I noticed the least, but when I did notice him it wasn’t good. I expected him to be a player that developed his tools and was better this year, but I didn’t see that tonight.

Ultimately, this all means that Pamphile may end up being fine but he certainly didn’t close the door on Nate Davis pushing him for that spot.
