10-12. Special teams

10. Speaking of players not playing, no Ryan Succop

If anything is going to hurt the Tennessee Titans total point output tonight, it is probably going to be Austin Barnard playing in place of Ryan Succop.

Barnard is likely competing for a spot either on someone’s practice squad or on a shortlist of players to call if a team loses a kicker. With that in mind, it wouldn’t shock me to see Vrabel giving him plenty of chances to make a play and make his money long term instead of taking a shot on 4th down.

11. Kick Returner options

Right now I think Darius Jennings is going to be the clear KR1, but behind him guys like Dalyn Dawkins, Taywan Taylor and Kalif Raymond could also get some snaps there.

12. Punt returner options

This is the one position on the field that I truly have no feel for. The starter is listed as Adam Humphries, but they aren’t going to let him return punts all night.

Guys like Raymond and Amani Hooker have to be considered given their potential punt return abilities, but tonight will be big in terms of showing us what the Titans really think of their special teams players.
