25- 30. Offensive roster bubble fights

25. Kalif Raymond, WR

vs

26. Taywan Taylor, WR

This isn’t something I thought I would be typing, but the receiver impressing people the most with the second team in training camp isn’t Taywan Taylor, it is Kalif Raymond.

The Titans need speed and both of these players have it, which means that they are competing for a similar role on the roster. With the top four receiver spots locked in and with Darius Jennings a near-lock in my mind, all the other WRs are competing for the sixth spot.

Practice is great and it will ultimately play a bigger part in the decision on who to keep, but a big game by either player could force the Titans to have more patience and to hold off making this decision.

27. Aaron Stinnie, iOL

vs

28. Jamil Douglas, iOL

You get to seven offensive linemen quickly with this current roster with Dennis Kelly and Corey Levin as the primary backups at tackle and center. Are the Tennessee Titans going to take nine into the season? I don’t know…

That means that two guys who have taken reps with the starters will get a chance to compete for that backup guard spot.

29. Jeremy McNichols, RB

vs

30. Dalyn Dawkins, RB

The Tennessee Titans need a third running back in a big way and if you consider David Fluellen as the “fullback” in this offense, then that still leaves that spot open.

It seem like these are the two backs that the coaching staff likes the most, so it will be interesting to see how much they contribute on special teams and how they look against backup defenders.
