Tajae the clear WR2?

I have been very reluctant to really buy into Tajae Sharpe this season, and I have tried to temper my expectations. I said this during the scrimmage:

But how long can I fight seeing someone win so consistently? I can explain this development away in a few different theories:

-Additional opportunity

-The fact that Corey Davis is drawing coverage to him

-Mariota’s development in this offense

-Adam Humprhies getting open so consistently that Mariota only targets Tajae Sharpe when he has mismatches

-Arthur Smith knowing exactly how to use him

The list can go on and on, but at what point is it just evident that he is a better player than he has been in recent history?

I would love to see the starters get a drive on offense against the Eagles and see five completions from Mariota with two going to Davis, two to Humphries and one to Tajae Sharpe where all three look great and where Mariota has perfect timing.

Whether we see something like that or not, I don’t know but if that happens and everyone looks like they are just dominating inside the structure of this offense then I will be very excited and kudos to Sharpe for quickly stepping in and turning the A.J. Brown injury from a big concern to a mild distraction.
