Marcus Mariota back

See, just a maintenance day. No concern, no split reps or anything weird just a regular rest day for a veteran who is going to start the season.

It seems crazy to have to knock down conspiracy theories and to remind everyone that Vrabel is just being cautious, but here we are.

After practice we got to hear from Marcus Mariota and it was good to see him talk about how camp has been going and what he is working on. Just some quick highlights (you can watch the video on the Titans official website)

-He has kept on the weight that he added in the offseason (for the most part) despite all the heat and the stress of training camp making things more difficult.

-Corey Davis has become a great partner for him and the questions he asks help both he and Marcus Mariota. Later Mariota said that receivers talk to him when they are open on a certain route or vs a certain coverage and that they look at that and use that to make a play later in the game.

-While health is priority one, two and three Mariota said that he wants to score some points and continue to build on the rhythm that the offense has in the preseason.
