Biggest news and notes from Tennessee Titans training camp on Monday.

The Tennessee Titans practiced Monday afternoon not for a scrimmage or just to teach up the boys, but to get ready for a (preseason) game on Thursday.

The biggest news and notes from that practice here.

Derrick Henry and A.J. Brown

Derrick Henry missed practice again, but like I have continued to say there is absolutely no reason to rush him back and no reason for him to even practice until Week 4 of the preseason.

What could Henry show you in a handful of rushes that you didn’t already know about him based on four years of coaching and tape study? New OC Arthur Smith is very aware of what Henry can and can’t do.

A.J. Brown continues to progress, but in weird ways.

Last week he was out after practice on the JUGS machine and someone was talking about how he looked like he was doing a little bit more moving. Today Brown was on the field during practice for the first time since the first day of training camp.

Brown looked engaged and active, at one point he was the “QB” for a ladder drill that the wide receivers were running, further enforcing that it is likely a minor injury that they are just being cautious with.
