Linebackers: 7th

I would argue that this is too low by a few spots and that the Tennessee Titans should be at least top-5.

Other teams are higher because they have more recognizable talent, but the Titans have the best trio of linebackers in the NFL.

Jayon Brown may be the best young linebacker in the league and certainly outperformed the likes of Leighton Vander Esch and Roquan Smith in 2018.

Rashaan Evans is a versatile linebacker who is not only a sledgehammer in the run game, but who has the finesse and athleticism to be a 5+ sack player as a rotational EDGE.

If the young duo wasn’t enough to encourage you, then look at the player who actually led the Tennessee Titans in tackles the last two years: Wesley Woodyard. Not only is Woodyard still a very solid defender, he is also a special teams captain and has been a captain every year in the NFL despite coming in undrafted.

I’ll say it again, there is no trio of off-ball linebackers in the NFL better than what the Titans have. Other group may have a truly elite talent like Bobby Wagner or Luke Keuchly, but even then the list of names of linebackers who are better than Jayon Brown is short and getting shorter every game.
