Winner: Young Defenders
There were several players that could have had their own slide here, but I just decided to lump them together.
Starting with Harold Landry who has been quietly great in practice, he had a huge hit on a tight end (it wasn’t actually Firkser) while in coverage and he has been everywhere as a run defender and pass rusher all preseason.
Harold Landry just laid the wood on Anthony Firkser, whom he was covering in the flat. Huge hit.

Amani Hooker didn’t get a lot of attention for his coverage, but he has been a starter in some sub-packages in camp and he added a new trick tonight. With speculation that he could be a punt returner, but with no actual reps as a returner in practice, tonight we got to see that he is actually in consideration to win that job.
.@amanihooker37 lined up deep to field first punt of the night. @Titans

Adoree Jackson is one of my guys, partially because I really didn’t love him pre-draft when he was selected by the Tennessee Titans. However, since that selection he has gotten better and better and he does so much for the team from pass break ups, to interceptions, to run defense, to special teams. Tonight it seems like he is getting even more refined.
Ryan Tannehill tried to find Taywan Taylor on the post. Adoree Jackson was in coverage. Actually ran the route like he was the WR and broke up the pass. #Titans

Sharif Finch rounds out the young winners. One of my favorite young players on the team, I think Finch can be an above average starter in the NFL and he is well on his way to being able to prove it after getting the majority of the 1st team reps at EDGE opposite Harold Landry.
He was single-handedly disrupting the backup offensive line by the end of the game after getting some big pressures early.
Mariota-led offense looking a little shaky of late. @S_Finch6 partly responsible with some really nice rushes. @Titans
