Defense has its moment

For the most part, training camps are supposed to be about defense shining. You have guys going after the ball full speed on one side, and on the other you usually have new guys learning a system.

Unlike defense, it is really hard to mask when a guy doesn’t do his job on offense because it usually results in a sack, TFL or interception.

So, this camp has been very unusual for the Tennessee Titans because it has actually been the offense that has shined against a very good Dean Pees defense.

However, today the defense came to play and did really well in the majority of 11-on-11 drills.

Harold Landry and Jayon Brown in particular seemed to be of note, while the entire secondary also played their parts well.

You never want to see your offense do poorly, but you do want to see some give and take this time of year. The offense bounced back, but it is good to see the defense shouldn’t be a concern.
