Loser: Ryan Succop

Man, I really hate that Ryan Succop’s leg is hurt for so many reasons.

Firstly, Succop is an awesome guy who has been good in the locker room and always comes off as someone who coaches and players enjoy being around.

Secondly, it is obviously scary to go into the season with a kicker that you haven’t seen all off/preseason because of an injury to his legs. That is like going into a season with a quarterback who is dealing with a shoulder injury without seeing him throw in practice.

Finally, confidence is the most important thing for kickers to have. If Succop takes a little bit to find his stroke, there is a chance that what is going on in his head hurts more than what is going on with his leg.

Succop has been great during his time with the Tennessee Titans and we all hope it continues, so let’s hope this doesn’t linger too long.
