Loser: The security of the offensive line

I am going to be completely honest, the first week of training camp was scary for the Tennessee Titans offensive line. We may look back on that and laugh, but right now you have to be a little bit concerned.

Taylor Lewan has unofficially been suspended for the first four weeks of the season

Jack Conklin had a great day and then left practice.

Dennis Kelly was doing well and then left practice.

Now, Conklin and Kelly both returned to practice the next day but still those little injuries and bumps and bruises always run the risk of being scarier than you initially thought.

All of that combined with the shuffling along the inside of the line means that I am not sure how frequently the real starting offensive line for Week 1 has actually played together.

I’m not saying the OL will be bad, in fact I think it will be clearly better than last year. My concern is just the instability and how quickly that needs to get to some level of consistency.
