Nate Davis gets time with the starters.

I am going to be completely honest, I liked the Nate Davis pick but I definitely didn’t love it. I thought he had a lot of cleaning up to do:

"“Davis is a developmental guard who played at Charlotte. Despite being 5 years removed from high school finishing as a redshirt senior, Nate Davis is only 22 years old giving him plenty of time to develop into a finished product. During his four years as a starter in Charlotte, Davis started a whopping 41 games including 35 at right guard and 6 at right tackle. On top of his experience, he is very athletic and has a quality NFL frame for guard standing at 6’3, 315 lb. So when I ask what is he, the answer is clear: A developmental guard who has the size, athleticism and experience to start at right guard early.”"

So when it was reported that he was starting with the 1s I was a little bit surprised. However, that surprise lessened when I saw this tweet:

So it seems like there is a real chance that all three will get time either with the 1st team OL in the preseason or at the very least in practice going forward.

While I don’t love moving three guards in and out of the lineup, as long as the bulk of the offensive line is getting reps together they can mess around with the chemistry a little bit.

Also of note, we are on the fourth day of training camp and I am pretty sure that the same offensive line has not practiced together yet. That is something to keep an eye the closer we get to preseason games, which unit gets the most work together.
