Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry trolled Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end, O.J. Howard.

Sometimes social media can be a great place for athletes to have a little fun, and that’s exactly what Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry did—albeit at the expense of Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end, O.J. Howard.

Howard posted a video to his Instagram page of his arrival at Bucs training camp a few days ago. It was a fun, well-produced video, although he didn’t exactly enter in a hot air balloon or jump out the back of an armored truck.

Nevertheless, Howard had some fun with his camp entrance.

As much fun as Howard had, Henry had more fun trolling him for his video. Henry’s comment is the third one from the top after Howard’s caption in the photo below (h/t Colin J. Liotta of Bucs Wire)

Henry’s response was “Boy you ugly lol.”

It was a friendly jest, obviously. Both Henry and Howard were teammates in college at Alabama from 2013 through 2015. Howard played out his senior season, while Henry left college after his junior year.

The former teammates will be on opposite sidelines in 2019. The Titans and Bucs are set to square off in Week 8 on October 27th in Tennessee.

Henry’s training camp got off to a rough start after he was forced to leave the team’s first practice on Friday. A report stated Henry’s left foot was placed in a walking boot, so it’s certainly a situation to monitor moving forward.

The latest from head coach Mike Vrabel is that Henry is day-to-day, so it doesn’t seem like much of a concern at the moment. Still, anytime you hear a walking boot thrown into the equation it can raise alarm bells.

Henry rushed for over 1,000 yards for the first time in his career in 2018. His breakout second half has people projecting big things for the fourth-year back.
