5. Ryan Schraeder RT (option to push Dennis Kelly to LT if Conklin isn’t ready)

So much of this list hinges on the fear of Jack Conklin not being ready to go. Like I said earlier, the easiest and most likely solution is staring fans in the face, but Robinson and Vrabel are not complacent so if they think that Conklin isn’t 100% and that there is a better option out there, they will make a change.

Another thing they prove is that connections are key in this business. Like Clark, the Tennessee Titans coaching staff has a connection to Schraeder, but this time it is a former assistant offensive line coach, Keith Carter (now Titans OL coach) that bridges the gap.

Schraeder’s best seasons came with Carter on the staff so it makes sense that Carter will probably pound the table for him if the Titans want to go with a right guard addition.

With so much of his success being based on his ability to run a zone scheme well, the fit and the talent are there. The only questions left is how much does he have left in tank and does he want to play on a team where he will hopefully just be cashing checks during the majority of the season?
