Tennessee Titans left tackle Taylor Lewan received support from both current and former teammates after he broke the news about his facing a four-game suspension.

Shortly after Tennessee Titans left tackle Taylor Lewan announced he was facing a four-game suspension following a positive test for a banned substance, his teammates came out in support.

Lewan tested positive for ostarine, which is a banned substance in the NFL. The former first-round pick claims he didn’t know he took the substance and posted a polygraph test to prove he was telling the truth.

Here’s the polygraph results, via Lewan’s Instagram account:

Now for the reactions from both Titans players past and present, as well as others around the league.

Titans running back Derrick Henry shared how we’re all feeling about Lewan’s impending suspension:

Safety Kevin Byard, who just inked a massive five-year, $70.5 million contract, showed support for his teammate:

Fellow safety Kenny Vaccaro echoed those sentiments:

Two former Titans, safety Johnathan Cyprien and linebacker Will Compton, are both confident Lewan will get through this and come out better for it:

Whether you believe Lewan or not, it doesn’t matter. The former Pro Bowler will still face a suspension if his second sample ends up matching the first. The results for that “sample B” are still pending.

Even in his lowest time, Lewan still has the backing of teammates both current and past, which says a lot about the kind of player and teammate Lewan is.

If Lewan misses the first four games, he’ll miss matchups with the Cleveland Browns (away), Indianapolis Colts (home), Jacksonville Jaguars (away) and Atlanta Falcons (away). His suspension becomes even more devastating when you realize it’ll take place for two divisional matchups.
