Season prediction pt. 2

Alright this one is a little bit better.

9-7 (Matt Miller)

"“The key here is that they have Dean Pees and they have Mike Vrabel and that defense is going to be absolutely nasty and opportunistic. So I am a little higher on them, I think they will at least be in the playoff push as we get into December.”"

-While everyone is just assuming that the Titans will have the worst offense in the division because of their lack of weapons (alright then), Miller is the only one to really point out how good these defense can and should be this year.

None of the players in the secondary are being replaced while their depth has been bolstered and Harold Landry and Rashaan Evans were both guys that all three liked and think will take a step forward in 2019.

After you add Jurrell Casey in that group, that gives you eight really good players who all three have already admitted they think are very good players. I’m going to go ahead and say that Jayon Brown will be great again and that Cameron Wake will make an impact.

So ultimately the biggest concern on defense is the defensive tackle that will be replaced in 10 weeks by the highest rated draft pick in the entire AFC South, Jeffery Simmons? Yep, I’m comfortable saying that defense will be a nightmare for the rest of the division.

If the Titans can score 17 points per game they should win 9+ games this season.
