Some interesting nuggets from the Stick To Football podcast about the Tennessee Titans.

The NFL is a weird place right now, and maybe no team is experiencing this more than the Tennessee Titans.

During the offseason, hope reigns supreme for playoff teams and bottom dwellers alike, but if you are in the middle of the pack get ready for a tumble.

Very rarely do you see people judge a team in the offseason and say, “You know what, they will probably win one more game than they did last year.” No, this is the time where teams go from the first overall pick to playoff contenders or fall from barely missing the playoffs to a top-5 draft pick.

Who knows what drives these opinions, is it hot takes, uninformed media members, inside information, a mistake in evaluation, or something else entirely?

Either way, when national media take a swing at breaking down teams in the middle of the pack (especially teams in a smaller market without players pushed as super stars out of college) there are some good and some not so good bits of information.

Let’s look at what Bleacher Report’s “Stick to Football” podcast had to say in their breakdown of the Tennessee Titans and whether or not you agree.  (specifically the 24:00-29:40 mark and the last 12 minutes)

(NOTE: The voices on the podcast are so similar that it is very difficult for me to always know who is speaking so instead of attributing quotes to individual people, you will sometimes see me just use quotes with indication. I apologize for this, my ears just can’t hear the difference in their voices well enough.)
