2. David Stewart

When people name of the greatest offensive linemen in Tennessee Titans/Houston Oilers history, they have to remember a lot of names. I mean, Bruce Matthews, Mike Munchak, Kevin Mawae, Brad Hopkins, Michael Roos, and Taylor Lewan all have to be mentioned quickly.

However, you need to mention “Big Country” pretty quickly because he was one of the best and most fun offensive linemen I can remember watching.

If you are too young to remember David Stewart, I remember calling Taylor Lewan a leaner, more athletic Stewart back nearly a decade ago:

He was extremely physical and go back and watch some of those Colts/Titans matchups where Stewart and Roos take on Dwight Freeney and Robert Mathis. Truly one of the best positional matchups for nearly a decade and one that I will never forget watching as a young offensive lineman.

Stewart took no nonsense and clearly prided himself on his ability to maul opponents, and without him the nickname CJ2K would not exist.

If not for the clear favorite on this list, I would like to think that Stewart was a player that any fan of the Titans could name that no talking head from the national media would even know about.
