Tennessee Titans biggest fan favorites of the last decade

5. Craig Stevens

Stevens was one of the best blocking tight ends in the NFL during his time, but I will go to my grave thinking that if he was in an offense that passed more that he could have had a Chris Cooley-like career arc.

He was an outstanding blocker that would be a perfect fit for what the Tennessee Titans are looking for right now. Someone athletic enough to line up anywhere, but physical enough to deal with different types of defenders.

Truly a wildcard, Stevens wasn’t properly appreciated by the media in his time in large part because he was never the “go-to” option as a receiver. However, I would have loved to see him get a real chance as the primary tight end in a pass heavy offense.

Although thinking back on it, I guess Tennessee Titans fans are pretty lucky that never happened because it meant that he got to spend his whole career in Nashville helping to make life easier for every running back and QB that walked through the door.
