Today, we remember the career and legacy of Tennessee Titans legend Steve McNair.

It seems surreal that it has been 10 years since Tennessee Titans fans and the football world lost Steve McNair, but that sad fact is as harsh a reality today as it was then.

McNair tragically lost his life when a 20-year-old woman shot and killed him on July 4th, 2009. To this day, there are still more questions than answers, making such a loss even more difficult to accept.

On this sad anniversary, we choose to mourn McNair by looking back at his career, which was one that made him a legendary figure in Tennessee.

We’re going to take a look at some of his defining moments, as well as what he truly meant to this fanbase and to the game of football.

McNair might have moved on from the Titans in the late stages of his career, but he more than earned the respect of being a Titan for life.
